SUMMER 2025
The ICE raids are creating a lot of chaos and confusion, but hopefully the more info we're all armed with, the better prepared we are to respond if we or someone we know is targeted. This season’s Dispatch is a sort of DIY (or as we like to think of it, do-it-together) handout for keeping yourself and your community safe. We want to express gratitude for the groups across the city committed to creating and publishing helpful information, some of which we have included below. Each resource is included as a downloadable document, which can be printed out, handed out, wheat-pasted, distributed, et cetera.
We’re calling it DIY, but obviously this is an effort that everyone needs to be taking on together. The reality is, the people most vulnerable and at risk of harassment or abduction by ICE are not following organizers compiling this information or subscribed to our dispatch. Every resource included in this issue is a tool that you and other comrades can use to protect your neighbors and community members. Sharing and reposting will not be enough– print these out, distribute them, paste them up. Take flyers and cards to your place of worship, job sites, libraries, stores, and schools. The more information we’re all armed with, the better prepared we are to respond if we or someone we know is targeted. These resources include information about and examples of warrants, know your rights cards, and more.
Included below are Know-Your-Rights cards in Spanish and English! These are great to print double sided, and hand out wherever you see fit. Keep a stack in your bag!
